La urgencia del asunto y las emociones implicadas en el caso hab\u00edan dificultado que la trabajadora encontrara abogado en este asunto.  Su abogado en el caso de acoso sexual se neg\u00f3 a representarla en la orden de alejamiento.  El Centro actu\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente, con s\u00f3lo un d\u00eda de aviso, preparamos al cliente, los testigos y las pruebas. Por miedo a las represalias y a la violencia, la clienta no quer\u00eda ver a su acosador, pero consideraba que s\u00f3lo una orden judicial le impedir\u00eda los insultos, las falsas acusaciones y el acoso que nuestra clienta hab\u00eda sufrido a lo largo de su vida laboral y desde que dej\u00f3 el trabajo.  Aunque no se concedi\u00f3 la petici\u00f3n, la valent\u00eda de la clienta al testificar sobre la conducta inapropiada de su acosador la ayud\u00f3 a sentirse m\u00e1s segura al enfrentarse a \u00e9l durante su caso de acoso sexual, y agradeci\u00f3 al Centro que estuviera a su lado.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To support a worker during her sexual harassment case, the Center for Workers\u2019 Rights represented former employee in a civil restraining order hearing against her harasser and former boss.
