Este fin de semana fuimos a una escuela local para participar en un evento muy especial en el cual padres y voluntarios se unieron para embellecer las instalaciones de la escuela. Murales fueron pintados a todos los alrededores. Unos murales representan iconos como Dolores Huerta quien nos recuerda que la lucha para mejorar las condiciones de los trabajadores contin\u00faa. Nuestra misi\u00f3n siempre ha sido apoyar a familias trabajadoras y expandir sus derechos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mientras est\u00e1bamos ah\u00ed conectamos con familias que se emocionaron al escuchar sobre el tipo de servicio que ofrecemos a los trabajadores. Muchos de los trabajadores con los que hablamos aprovecharon nuestro nuevo calendario de \u201cHoras Trabajadas\u201d que creamos en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Consejo Central de Labor. El calendario es una herramienta para trabajadores para que mantengan registro de sus horas trabajadas, aunque su empleador siga una m\u00e9todo est\u00e1ndar. En muchos de nuestros reclamos de saldos debidos un obst\u00e1culo com\u00fan es la discrepancia entre las horas que el trabajador reclama y las horas que el empleador ha registrado.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fue un placer brindar nuestros recursos a familias trabajadoras este fin de semana.
