El Centro de Derechos de los Trabajadores patrocin\u00f3 este proyecto de ley que establece una sanci\u00f3n aplicable cuando los trabajadores no reciben su pago a tiempo.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CWR propuso por primera vez esta legislaci\u00f3n en 2018 despu\u00e9s de a\u00f1os de hablar con trabajadores en situaciones financieras desesperadas como resultado de que su empleador les paga tarde. Los trabajadores no ten\u00edan forma de recibir su pago a tiempo. Ahora, los empleados pueden recibir multas por pago atrasado a trav\u00e9s de una audiencia ante el Comisionado Laboral. Por una infracci\u00f3n inicial, el empleado recupera una multa de cien d\u00f3lares ($100).
