{"id":2984,"date":"2023-06-28T14:02:43","date_gmt":"2023-06-28T21:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightscenter.org\/?p=2984"},"modified":"2023-08-08T08:58:02","modified_gmt":"2023-08-08T15:58:02","slug":"center-for-workers-rights-celebrates-our-9th-annual-awards-ceremony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightscenter.org\/es\/news\/center-for-workers-rights-celebrates-our-9th-annual-awards-ceremony\/","title":{"rendered":"El Centro de Derechos Laborales Celebra su Novena Ceremonia Anual de Entrega de Premios."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Jueves, 27 de Junio, el Centro de Derechos Laborales celebr\u00f3 nuestra 9na Ceremonia Anual de Premios.Cada verano, el CWR re\u00fane a miembros de la comunidad, simpatizantes, voluntarios, miembros de coaliciones y otras organizaciones comunitarias para reflexionar sobre las victorias del a\u00f1o pasado, destacar las \u00e1reas de crecimiento y honrar a tres personas que ejemplifican la lucha por un mundo m\u00e1s justo para todos los trabajadores.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este a\u00f1o nos reunimos en el Hotel Citizen, en Sacramento California, donde nuestros invitados conversaron sobre temas de actualidad relacionados con los derechos laborales.... Tuvimos el privilegio de reconocer a Cynthia Rice, galardonada con nuestro Premio al Defensor Legal por d\u00e9cadas de defensa de los trabajadores, tutor\u00eda de nuevos abogados y estrategias de litigio pioneras.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuvimos el honor de entregar a Barry Broad nuestro Premio al Liderazgo Legislativo y nos encant\u00f3 escuchar sus aventuras defendiendo lo que es justo en el Capitolio, con historias que dejaron a todos los invitados con la boca abierta.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apreciamos profundamente que nuestro cliente Leon Burns compartiera su compromiso con su trabajo como consejero de drogas y alcohol y el impacto que el Centro de Derechos Laborales tuvo en su continuo desarrollo profesional mientras luch\u00e1bamos por un salario justo para \u00e9l y sus compa\u00f1eros de trabajo.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los \u00faltimos nueve a\u00f1os han demostrado verdaderamente que una peque\u00f1a organizaci\u00f3n como el Centro de Derechos Laborales puede tener un profundo impacto en las vidas de tantos trabajadores que luchan por asegurar una vida digna en un mundo que a menudo parece activamente hostil a esos fines.
