En 2019, el Centro de Derechos Laborales fue contactado por una empleada de un restaurante de Sacramento, Teriyaki to Go. Denunci\u00f3 haber sido objeto de acoso, y trato injusto en el lugar de trabajo. La trabajadora desea permanecen an\u00f3nimos, pero nos ha permitido compartir su historia con la esperanza de ayudar a otros trabajadores a presentarse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante el tiempo que estuvo empleada en el restaurante, su jefe la maltrataba verbalmente con frecuencia, mientras otros directivos se quedaban mirando. Por vil que fuera el trato que recib\u00eda, carec\u00eda de recursos reales, ya que el jefe trataba as\u00ed a la mayor\u00eda de sus empleados.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin embargo, CWR fue capaz de revisar los procedimientos de n\u00f3mina de su empleador y determin\u00f3 que el empleador la hab\u00eda obligado a trabajar fuera de horario.  A trav\u00e9s del proceso de reclamaci\u00f3n de salarios con la Oficina del Comisionado Laboral, pudimos asegurar una sentencia de m\u00e1s de $11,000 por las horas que trabaj\u00f3 sin el pago adecuado y las sanciones correspondientes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pero es raro que un trabajador s\u00f3lo se enfrente a una forma de injusticia.
