{"id":3017,"date":"2020-09-16T13:11:48","date_gmt":"2020-09-16T20:11:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightscenter.org\/?p=3017"},"modified":"2024-03-15T14:37:55","modified_gmt":"2024-03-15T21:37:55","slug":"the-center-for-workers-rights-conducts-its-first-unemployment-insurance-clinic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightscenter.org\/es\/news\/the-center-for-workers-rights-conducts-its-first-unemployment-insurance-clinic\/","title":{"rendered":"El Centro de Derechos Laborales Conduce su Primera Cl\u00ednica de Aseguranza de Desempleo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Debido a la masiva afluencia de solicitudes de beneficios por desempleo presentadas por los trabajadores a causa de la actual pandemia de Covid-19, el Centro de Derechos Laborales organiz\u00f3 su primer Consultorio exclusivamente para los trabajadores que necesitan asesoramiento individualizado sobre su solicitud de prestaciones por desempleo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contando con estudiantes de derecho voluntarios de la Facultad de Derecho de la UC Davis, entrevistamos a trabajadores que se enfrentan a obst\u00e1culos para solicitar o fueron rechazados beneficios del seguro de desempleo. Ofrecemos servicios ling\u00fc\u00edsticos para adaptarnos a las necesidades de nuestra diversa comunidad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estas cl\u00ednicas se basan en el \u00e9xito que hemos tenido en nuestras Cl\u00ednicas de Derechos Laborales, que llevamos a cabo desde su apertura en 2014 y en las que tratamos temas como el seguro de desempleo. Esta cl\u00ednica especializada no s\u00f3lo ampl\u00eda la capacidad de nuestra cl\u00ednica en un momento en que decenas de miles de trabajadores est\u00e1n pasando por la p\u00e9rdida del empleo, la inseguridad laboral y la reducci\u00f3n de ingresos, sino que permite a los expertos en la materia analizar m\u00e1s a fondo la causa de los problemas con las prestaciones. Los trabajadores han estado sin apoyo en sus beneficios del seguro de desempleo durante toda la pandemia, ya que el EDD ha sido incapaz de atender eficazmente el volumen de llamadas de asistencia que recibe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante el proceso de admisi\u00f3n, los trabajadores hablar\u00e1n de su solicitud con un especialista en admisiones que, a continuaci\u00f3n, consultar\u00e1 a nuestros expertos jur\u00eddicos para discutir el mejor curso de acci\u00f3n.
