Desde 2015, los trabajadores californianos a tiempo completo y a tiempo parcial de empresas de cualquier tama\u00f1o tienen derecho a tomarse un m\u00ednimo de 3 d\u00edas de baja por enfermedad pagados (o 24 horas), en 2024 el m\u00ednimo aumentar\u00e1 a 5 d\u00edas, (40 horas).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Siempre que se haya trabajado para la misma empresa durante al menos 30 d\u00edas, se tiene derecho a acumular estos d\u00edas de enfermedad retribuidos, aunque la empresa puede impedir que se utilicen las horas acumuladas hasta el 90 d\u00eda de trabajo.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tambi\u00e9n a partir del 1 de enero de 2024, el l\u00edmite de horas acumuladas de baja por enfermedad aumentar\u00e1 de 48 horas (6 d\u00edas) de baja por enfermedad en un a\u00f1o a 80 horas, o 10 d\u00edas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Oficina del Comisionado Laboral de California sigue siendo el principal departamento encargado de velar por el cumplimiento de la ley de baja por enfermedad pagada de California.
