Gathering for Workers’ Rights in Davis

The Center for Workers’ Rights will begin its legal service in the Davis community. Please join us for a special event to learn about the new Center for Workers’ Rights, a legal services organization based in Sacramento, and its plans to bring workers’ rights advocacy to Davis.

The Center for Workers’ Rights, in conjunction with San Francisco’s Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center  will open a Workers’ Rights Clinic in Davis in the fall 2014. Relying on King Hall student volunteers and volunteer attorneys, the Workers’ Rights Clinic will counsel low-wage workers on employment-related issues.  The Center will also provide representation in administrative matters, including wage claims and unemployment insurance appeals hearings.
