11^th Annual Awards Celebration Sponsorship

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate the Center for Workers’ Rights 11th Annual Awards Celebration. It was a truly special evening that reflected both how far we have come and the powerful community that sustains our work.

The program honored leaders who have fought tirelessly to protect and advance workers’ rights. Assemblymember Liz Ortega was recognized for her leadership in strengthening wage theft enforcement and standing up for working people in the legislature. Caitlin Vega was celebrated for her long record of advancing landmark protections for low wage workers and ensuring their voices remain at the center of labor law and policy. Iedalia Martinez, a CWR worker leader, was honored for her courage in standing up to wage theft and helping others do the same.

Throughout the evening, we reflected on CWR’s growth over the past year, from launching a formal membership of workers across multiple industries and counties to leading outreach and education efforts through the California Worker Outreach Project. Each story shared and every conversation reminded us why this work matters and how much remains to be done.

We are proud of what we have accomplished together and inspired by the continued commitment of our community to fight for fairness, dignity, and justice in every workplace.
