CWR Continues to Partner with the Mexican Consulate to Reach Immigrant Workers

CWR joined the Sacramento Mexican Consulate in their Financial Career and Resource Fair held on November 17, 2023.  This event marked the 10th collaboration on outreach activities between CWR and the Mexican Consulate this  year. These events highlight the Consulate’s ongoing dedication to supporting community empowerment and professional growth. By including us in these collaborative opportunities, we receive a valuable platform for discussing workers’ rights, distributing resources, providing assistance, and services with community members and other industry professionals.

The Consulate is an incredibly important resource for many Sacramento residents who have recently migrated, are monolingual, or may be unfamiliar with how to get connected to the resources and information they are in need of and we want to thank them for including us in their outreach efforts. We often meet workers in need of immediate assistance in resolving workplace issues and we are glad the Consulate has provided the space for us to support Sacramento’s immigrant workers.

CWR extends a warm welcome to our new General Consul of Mexico in Sacramento, Christian Tonatiuh Gonzalez. We  eagerly anticipate future collaborations at upcoming events. Our heartfelt thanks to the Mexican Consulate for their hospitality and continued support. We look forward to working together in the future to contribute to the development and prosperity of the Sacramento community.
