The Center for Workers’ Rights Holds its 8th Annual Awards Celebration

The Center for Workers’ Rights would like to thank all that were able to attend and support our 8th Annual Awards Celebration. We were grateful to be able to safely celebrate together again after a two-year hiatus resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Annual Awards Celebration gives us the opportunity to recognize outstanding members of our community for their work in the continued struggle to build a world where workers are respected, treated with dignity, and receive justice.

On August 2,2022,  the Center and its supporters met at Maggie’s Table at Casa Gardens to honor with the Legal Advocate Award, the Honorable George Acero of the Sacramento County Superior Court, with the Legislative Leadership Award,  Art Pulaski of the California Labor Federation, and with the Worker Bravery Award, Giselle Ann Revelo, Home Care Worker and Center for Workers’ Rights Client. We would also like to extend our gratitude to all of our sponsors who made this event possible
